Nokia World en Barcelona: Lanzan el N97


í‚¡Tubazo! El reloj se detuvo.La incíƒ ³gnita se despeja. Se esta celebrando el evento internacional m탡s importante para esta marca: el Nokia World en Barcelona. Durante su primer díƒ ­a una noticia estremece al mundo: el lanzamiento del Nokia N97.

Nuestro reportero Rafael Rojas Cremosi mantuvo la guardia esta madrugada y nos mandíƒ ³ la nota de prensa oficial.

N70: El primer NSeries t탡ctil

El nuevo Nokia N97 fue anunciado hace una hora durante la primera jornada del Nokia World en Barcelona, Espaíƒ ±a. Comercialmente lo veremos a partir del primer trimestre de 2009. Entre las caracteríƒ ­sticas tíƒ ©cnicas m탡s importantes:

* Teclado QWERTY deslizable.
* Pantalla t탡ctil de 3,5 pulgadas widescreen con resoluciíƒ ³n de 640×360 (16:9).
* HSDPA (3G) y Wi-FI.
* 32GB de memoria de almacenamiento y capacidad de expansiíƒ ³n por medio de una tarjeta microSD.
* Bateríƒ ­a que en teoríƒ ­a permite 1 díƒ ­a y medio de vida entre cargas.
* C탡mara de 5 megapixeles con íƒ ³ptica Carl Zeiss.
* A-GPS.

Este seríƒ ­a el primer telíƒ ©fono de Nokia en la serie N con una pantalla t탡ctil. El sistema operativo usado es Symbian OS S60 versiíƒ ³n 5 que incluye algunas de las caracteríƒ ­sticas encontradas en el 5800 pero de acuerdo al comunicado de prensa que hemos recibido hace unos minutos, Nokia planea crear nuevas oportunidades para desarrolladores de software permitiendo que se puedan hacer widgets que pueden ser usados en la pantalla inicial del N97, que segíƒ ºn explicaron, son totalmente personalizable por el usuario final, similar a las internet tablets que Nokia nos tiene aconstumbrados: la N800 y la N810.

í‚ ¿Ser탡 este el primer competidor serio del iPhone? es posible. Tendremos que probarlo, estoy especialmente interesado en ver cíƒ ³mo funciona en la terminal con usos reales, cíƒ ³mo se comporta el sistema operativo y cíƒ ³mo se comporta el software en relaciíƒ ³n a las caracteríƒ ­sticas de hardware que tiene el smartphone. Disculpen si sueíƒ ±o, pero si menos nos invitan, mucho menos nos mandaran el equipo. í‚¡Y como le gusta a Nokia ofrecer!.

Se dijo en la actividad que el Nokia N97 costar탡 unos 550í¢â€š ¬, hablamos de unos $700 díƒ ³lares.

Designed for the needs of Internet-savvy consumers, the Nokia N97 combines a large 3.5″ touch display with a full QWERTY keyboard, providing an ‘always open’ window to favorite social networking sites and Internet destinations. Nokia’s flagship Nseries device introduces leading technology – including multiple sensors, memory, processing power and connection speeds – for people to create a personal Internet and share their ‘social location.’

Sensing your ‘So-Lo’

The Nokia N97 introduces the concept of ‘social location’. With integrated A-GPS sensors and an electronic compass, the Nokia N97 mobile computer intuitively understands where it is. The Nokia N97 makes it easy to update social networks automatically with real-time information, giving approved friends the ability to update their ‘status’ and share their ‘social location’ as well as related pictures or videos.

Widescreen – Internet and entertainment

The home screen of the Nokia N97 mobile computer features the people, content and media that matter the most. Friends, social networks and news are available by simply touching the home screen. The 16:9 widescreen display can be fully personalized with frequently updated widgets of favorite web services and social networking sites. The Nokia N97 is also perfectly suited for browsing the web, streaming Flash videos or playing games. Both the physical QWERTY and virtual touch input ensure efficiency in blogging, chatting, posting, sending texts or emailing.

The Nokia N97 supports up to 48 GB of storage, including 32 GB of on-board memory, expandable with a 16 GB microSD card for music, media and more. This is complemented by excellent music capabilities, full support for the Nokia Music Store and continuous playback time of up to 1.5 days. The Nokia N97 also has a 5-Megapixel camera with high-quality Carl Zeiss optics, 16:9 and DVD quality video capture, and support for services like Share on Ovi for immediate sharing over HSDPA and WLAN.

The Nokia N97 is expected to begin shipping in the first half of 2009 at an estimated retail price of EUR 550 before taxes or subsidies.
